Casa Antica

A 17th-century townhouse restored and extended in steel and glass.

Casa Antica took three years and a great deal of patience. The original stonework, timber and tiled floors were restored where they stood; everything new was kept deliberately light so the old fabric reads first.

A steel-and-glass extension opens the ground floor onto a courtyard planted with a single olive tree.
